What is ILI?
ILI is a small, private school located in the north Indian city of Allahabad. It is owned and staffed by a combination of Indian and non-Indian personnel.
Is ILI legal and legitimate within India?
ILI is registered as an educational institution with the UP State Board of Education. Our tax number is APRPS 1720B.
How do you organize your language programs?
Our language learning programs are structured in approach and follow second language teaching principles. They are also student-centered and interactive, using a variety of methods with the result that most students progress quickly.
Can I just take a fast course on the basics?
There are no 'crash courses' taught at ILI. All classes have strong academic content (i.e. university level) even though they are taught with simplified grammatical terms.
What languages do you teach? ILI has had success in teaching Hindi to students from twenty-five different countries (even to students with limited English). We also provide instruction in English for those students who are looking for a cheaper option than studying English in Western countries.
What kind of visa can I get?
Student visas are available for students who will commit to at least one year (two semesters) of study.
How can I settle in Allahabad quickly and easily?
ILI provides additional help to its students such as helping them find housing and getting settled.
Do you only teach language?
No, we teach religious and cultural exposure alongside the language so students feel more at home in their surroundings.
